Abdulrahman has 25 years of experience in the corporate finance, accounting, and governance domains. He joined EY on October 1, 2015 as a Partner and Country Leader for its Transaction Advisory Services practice in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that he was the Group CFO of one of the large conglomerates in Saudi Arabia for nine years and before that he was in a leading position with one of the ‘Big 4’ accounting firms in Saudi Arabia for 11 years and previously with another large Saudi conglomerate for four years. Abdulrahman has led and managed assignments with market leaders in the banking / financial services, energy, manufacturing, retail, real estate and financial services industries and governmental institutions. He also has extensive experience across a wide-range of capital events (acquisitions, divestments, and restructuring, as well as various stock-exchange transactions). He has a BS degree in accounting from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia with first-class honors, and is a licensed public accountant in Saudi Arabia and has passed many related international accounting and controls examinations. He has been a guest speaker at many national and international conferences and is considered as a regional expert in this field.
