Financial Leaders's Forum

Empowering Investors in transforming Middle East Financial & Energy Markets.

Current events are redefining global economies, providing regional investors and markets great opportunity yet also posing significant risk. So how does one prepare and how best to respond?

For the Middle East, the role of its nascent financial community has never been more meaningful. Regional markets and investors, led primarily by those based in the GCC, are poised to be globally competitive. An overwhelming 94% of financial community respondents attending the S&P Leaders’ Forum 2012 deemed it ‘important’ or ‘very important’ for the GCC’s financial sector to compete globally. The S&P Financial Leaders’ Forum 2013 tackles the complexity and sheds light on rewards for investors and financial markets to compete yet collaborate, in an environment that demands transparency and good governance, while contributing responsibly towards sustainable economic growth.

The Financial Leaders’ Forum offers a decision-making solution to market leaders. It does so by capturing the viewpoint of the Middle East financial community in a single event that equips participants with strategies to grasp opportunities and mitigate risks.

Now in its sixth year, the invitation-only event is a forward-looking, regional financial sector and business strategy forum for senior financial community members. The Forum is a unique proposition – it is the only financial community event that encourages the financial sector’s contribution to regional economies while working towards improving industry standards.

The annual event brings together more than 300 global and regional investors and issuers from corporates, financial intermediaries, financial services, regulators, associations and thought leaders in order to address key current issues and set future plans and strategies for the benefit of the economy and their respective businesses. The forum draws upon the expertise of collective participant opinions and offers meaningful economic and business directions as an outcome of interactive discussions, audience interviews and questionnaires.

Participants at the Financial Leaders’ Forum collectively account for over US$1 trillion in assets under management offering a representative sample of the regions’ financial community leadership, sharing perspectives on a multiplicity of concerns, opportunities and solutions, supported by industry experts and thought leaders. DNMconnect strives to generate deal flow and produce tangible results serving business community and thought leaders across Middle East, Africa and Asia.
